Funeral transport
At Thomas Cuthell & Sons, we understand that every detail of a funeral matters, including how your loved one and family make their final journey together. Our fleet of Jaguar funeral vehicles combines comfort, dignity, and reliability, ensuring every procession is handled smoothly and respectfully.
Our funeral fleet
We are proud to operate our own fleet of modern Jaguar funeral vehicles, including two hearses and three chauffeur-driven limousines, each seating up to seven passengers. Additional vehicles can be sourced to accommodate larger groups or special requests.
All vehicles are professionally maintained, reflecting the high standards and care we bring to every funeral we arrange. Our chauffeurs are courteous, experienced, and committed to ensuring a dignified journey.

Planning the journey
When limousines are required, uplift times and addresses are agreed as part of your funeral arrangements. The family are collected and transported to the service location, often alongside the hearse.
After the service, your chauffeur continues to the cemetery or crematorium, and then to the chosen reception or catering venue. This is usually the limousine’s final stop, though we can help arrange any additional transport if required.
For larger groups, we can also arrange bus or coach transport and coordinate timings and pick-up/drop-off points.

Personalising funeral transport
Every family has their own ideas for a farewell. In addition to our Jaguar fleet, we can arrange a range of special or bespoke vehicles, including:
- Horse-drawn hearses, offering a traditional and elegant tribute
- Motorcycle hearses, ideal for celebrating a love of the open road
- Vintage vehicles, including our fully restored 1957 Austin FX3 hearse
These options help make the funeral procession a more personal and memorable farewell.
Choosing what feels right
Selecting the right funeral transport is about more than getting from one place to another – it’s about creating a moment of reflection and togetherness.
Whether you prefer a traditional cortege or something more individual, our experienced team will guide you through the choices and handle every detail with care.
We ensure every journey runs on time, smoothly, and respectfully, with the professionalism expected from a trusted, family-run funeral director.
