News > Covid-19 Update 11th August 2020

We would like to thank the community and our team for being so understanding in recent months as we have adapted to the measures that have been put in place to protect everyone from the spread of Coronavirus. As we reopen the doors of our premises to the public, below is a summary of the measures that we have put in place to ensure that we are able to continue to ensure that everyone’s safety and wellbeing is at the heart of all we do:

Appointments - Anyone visiting our premises is required to make an appointment in advance, we ask that people use our hand sanitising stations as they arrive and leave the premises.

Perspex Screens  - These have been installed in all of our premises to enable our team to attend to any enquiries safely.

Face Coverings – It is now mandatory when visiting our premises, or for anyone attending a funeral at an indoor location, to wear a face covering.

Discussing Funeral Arrangements – To minimise face to face interaction it is still very much our preference is to carry out any meetings by video or telephone call wherever possible.

Limousines – Perspex divisions have now been fitted to our fleet meaning that up to six passengers can travel in our limousines (please note it is no longer possible for someone to sit in the front beside the chauffeur).

Service Rooms – Our four service rooms are now available for funeral services.

Attendance at Funerals – The Scottish Government have restricted attendance at any funeral to 20 people, people should only attend a funeral if they have been invited by the family. In order to support the Test & Protect system we will provide all families with a pro-forma document to complete in advance of a funeral service, anyone who’s name is not on this list will not be able to enter the service.
