On Saturday 5th August the Grangemouth Bowling Club ‘Cuthell Trophy’ was held. This is an annual event where we sponsor the day, provide prizes and present the trophy to the winners.
This year the event was played by triples. The day started well with lovely weather in the morning. Unfortunately at approximately 11:00 there were some heavy showers which halted play. The decision was taken to serve the lunch at this time and by the time lunch had finished, the weather had cleared and play resumed. The tournament was played to a conclusion in the late afternoon.
Thanks to all at the club who helped make the day a success and thanks also to those who entered.
