News > Memorial Trees & Virtual Memorial Service

During December memorial trees will once again be placed within each of our funeral homes to allow the community to place a message of remembrance on them in memory of a loved one.

Our preference is that any messages are emailed to us at enquiries@thomascuthell.co.uk (please mention in the email which of our premises the message should be placed within) in order that we can add them to a memorial tag. We realise that some in our community may prefer to visit in person but would ask that (if this is the case) they telephone in advance to make an appointment.

To assist others at this time we will also be accepting donations towards the good work of The Falkirk Foodbank, St Vincent De Paul Foodbank, Denny and The Storehouse, Bo’ness. In order to facilitate this we have set up a donations page which can be accessed by clicking here, subsequently Thomas Cuthell & Sons will match any donations raised and in turn the final amount will be forwarded to these worthy projects across the communities which we serve.

Our Annual Memorial Service which is held at our premises in Grangemouth each January will also go ahead in a pre-recorded format which will be available to view via our website and Facebook page on the evening of Tuesday 19th January 2021. At this service the trees from each of our four funeral homes will be part of our focus as we remember those who are no longer with us.

Each year there is sadness as people think of previous years spent with those that are no longer with us. Sadly this will be all the harder this year as many families and friends have not been permitted to come together in person due to the current Government restrictions (in addition to the fact that they have already been unable to have the public funeral service that they would have chosen for their loved one).

It is our hope that you will all find comfort through knowing you are in our thoughts and prayers in the weeks which lie ahead of us.
