Peacefully, in Forth Valley Royal Hospital, on January 24, 2023, Alex Cameron, aged 97 years. Husband to Sadie, dad to Gordon and Douglas, father-in-law to Jackie and Rose, and a much-loved grandad to Jamie, Nic, Bex, Chris and Anna. Great grandad to Ethan, Theo, and Ben. A born entertainer, Alex was well known for his singing and bird whistling skills. He was born in Bainsford and lived in Glen Village, Redding, Laurieston, and latterly in Wellside Court, Falkirk. He worked for many years in the BXL in Grangemouth and before that as a bus driver in the Falkirk area. A funeral and service to celebrate his life will be held at Falkirk Crematorium, on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 2.45 pm. All are welcome. Family flowers only, please. There will be a retiral collection for those wishing to donate to Beatson’s Cancer Charity.
