Peacefully at Forth Valley Royal Hospital on 28th February 2024, John aged 73 years. Devoted husband of Liz, loving dad of Paul, father-in-law of Nicola, doting papa of Ryan and Abby, also a sadly missed brother, uncle, and friend to many.

God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be
So He closed His arms around you and whispered,
“Come to me!”
You didn’t deserve what you went through
and so He gave you rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best.
And when we saw you sleeping so peaceful and free of pain,
We couldn’t wish you back to suffer that again.
