At Forth Valley Royal Hospital on 17^th October 2023 after a long illness, Samuel aged 92 years.  Beloved husband of the late Agnes and sadly missed by his sister and brothers. 

We lived in hope and prayed in vain,
that God would make you well again.
What you suffered we all knew –
You didn’t deserve what you went through.
Tired and weary, you made no fuss,
and tried so hard to stay with us;
To lose a brother as good as you
will remain a heartache all life through.
On earth you toiled, in heaven you rest;
God called you home and gave you rest.
